All legal restrictions are being lifted from Monday 19th July, this means we will be able to increase the capacity of classes albeit cautiously. We are still putting a limit on how many can attend each class and the following procedures will still stay in place for everyone’s safety until further notice:
Every member must book via our TeamUp online booking system
Hand sanitising station will remain on entry, at reception and by toilets for members use before, during and after class
Masks are voluntary in and out of the building
Windows will remain open on all sides of the building for air flow
On top of cleaning the mat we will still spray sanitise all surfaces on a daily basis and fumigate the premises on monthly basis
As social distancing is no longer a legal requirement please do still spread yourselves out and avoid mingling when not necessary.
We will still have the QR track and trace displayed at reception however we do keep our own track and trace records from the booking system
If you feel ill, stay home. If you have a positive Covid test, then you will need to quarantine for 10 days prior to returning to the gym
Stay safe,
Tom and the Stronger Team
Hi Team, just a bit of an update regarding the government’s announcement.
There’s still a few unanswered questions from what has been published but here is what the government have said can commence and when:
12th April – Indoor classes for children can commence. Household adults may also train with kids. Adult individual training is permitted e.g. individual circuit training.
17th May – Group indoor classes for adults can resume following Covid indoor risk assessment and social distancing rules
21st June – Regular contact training can commence, risk assessments will apply but expect things back to normal
We’re still waiting for further clarity on the guidance published at which point we will be in contact for a return to training plan and the timetable we can offer.
Thanks,
The Stronger Team
The government have put us into tier 4, and the gym will be closed for at least 2 weeks at which point the Government will review the current tier system. Regrettably this has messed up everyone’s Christmas plans and put more strain on our wellbeing. Hang in there and keep strong everybody💪. We will update all members in due course with what to expect over the coming weeks. Thanks.

Hi Team,
Our gym will reopen for business on Wednesday 2nd December and you can now book your classes via the TeamUp app, via our website timetable or using this link:https://goteamup.com/p/3511041-stronger-fitness-and-mart/
Timetable remains largely unchanged except for Striking for MMA now taking place on Thursday at 7am instead of Saturday and BJJ now having two morning classes on Monday and Wednesday at 7am.
All other Kids and adults class times remain unchanged.
As a reminder to all members:
Thank you for your understanding and see you on the mats soon.
The Stronger Team
With a heavy heart I am writing to confirm that we will be closed from tomorrow, Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December.
Over the next few days we will be uploading new Zoom classes to the TeamUp calendar that will keep you mentally and physically in shape until we re-open our doors. I do fully expect to re-open with a bang so watch this space!
Membership Payments
We appreciate this is a tough time for everyone and have outlined 3 membership payment options:
1) Continue to support the gym and keep your membership running, you don’t need to do anything – Thank you!
or
2) We can apply a 50% discount on your next billing date
or
3) We can freeze your membership until we re-open
If you would like option 2 or 3, simply email info@strongerfitness.co.uk with your request.
Please note, if your payment is imminent or has recently gone out then we will apply the reduction to your next billing date.
Whilst we’re sorting out the zoom schedules for the next few weeks, why not re-visit these awesome BJJ, MMA and Body Workout videos that were filmed during lockdown #1on our YouTube Channel
Thanks again for your support,
Tom and the Stronger Team
This October 10th is World Mental Health Day and our wonderful Roxy has organised a fundraising event to raise money for Rethink Mental Health charity in memory of one our BJJ and MMA students Chloe Costa who sadly took her own life in December last year. The plan is to complete 23 laps (approximately 161 miles) around Richmond Park as a team relay on Saturday 10th October. We already have a team of 3 cyclists ready to take part but we’re still looking for more team members to join in! If you would like to take part whether it be cycling or even running if you don’t have a bike then please message Tom or Roxy so we have an idea of numbers wanting to participate.
Please also donate if you can, here’s the justgiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/strongerforchloe
Chloe is pictured on the right winning Double Silver at Grappling Industries BJJ tournament in 2019.
